Applying to pay enforcement orders by instalments
If you receive a Centrelink benefit, you may apply to voluntarily enforce your penalty amount. This means you can commence paying by instalment from your benefit without paying the usual additional $50 enforcement fee. To save the $50 you must contact us to set up this arrangement before the due date on the penalty reminder notice.

Applying online to pay by instalments
You can apply to pay by instalments by completing the online application unless you are a third party acting on someone's behalf via Authority to Act. .
Applications can be made at any time through this service, or if you require operator assistance to complete your application, can contact us between 8am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
Note:completing the application form will only stop further enforcement action if it is received and approved before the due date on the enforcement order/s.
Applying by phone to pay by instalments
You can apply to pay by instalments by phone unless you are a third party acting on someone's behalf via Authority to Act.
Applications by phone can be made at any time through our automated service, or if you require operator assistance, contact us.
You can contact us between 8 am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Applying in writing to pay by instalments
You can apply to pay by instalments by completing a payment by instalment application – for individuals form.
When completing the application form, please ensure you complete all sections and attach the following:
- most recent income statement from Centrelink (if wanting to have payments deducted automatically from your Centrelink benefit)
- most recent employment pay slip
- most recent bank statement.
Note: completing the application form will only stop further enforcement action if it is received and approved before the due date on the enforcement order/s.
